This week our very own Operations Director, Louise Gruchy, is in competition with other event professionals to win the C&IT and Rocco Forte Hotels Cook Off. Louise was invited to put her cooking skills to the test and battle it out – Masterchef style!
Welcomed with an array of ingredients it was time to get creative. Something the people of Bluehat Group pride themselves on. The four contestants were then given a demonstration by Brown’s Hotel Head Chef, Riad Ziadi and had to recreate one of the hotels most popular dishes, Roast Newlyn Monkfish on the Bone with Hannan’s Guanciale.
Bluehat offer their very own cooking challenges, with cuisines ranging from Spanish to Sushi and producing dishes from cupcakes to canapés. Our knowledge is extensive in these events and no matter what you fancy eating we have something to offer. With an array of our very own cookery events we know it can quickly get hot in the kitchen, but Louise held her nerve and produced an amazing dish! After returning to the office, claiming she would become a professional chef, Louise said ‘I loved it. What an amazing experience and opportunity to cook in a professional kitchen, get creative and compete against my industry peers. Now it is down to the voting public to decide! ’
